What I got for Christmas 2017

The Emma Lifestyle

A glimpse into my world down here...

I'm going to say it now, I can be a really nosey cow when I want to be, so I love reading blog posts/watching YouTube videos where people show us what they got for Christmas, Birthdays or your celebration of choice. And I know I'm not the only one so I wanted to join in.

Before we go any further, I am a tiny little blogger so I don't get gifts from PRs, everything that I mention here have been lovingly purchased for me with real life money by the people that I love. If you don't like the idea of that, then why are you reading this post?

I wont go through everything because I was very spoilt this year, and if I go through everything then we will be here for ages. So I wanted to share with you some of the best bits, and if you've read any of my gift guides then you might see some similarities.

The gifts from Alex

Topshop Pelt Faux Fur Coat - I admit that I sent the boy a list of ten items that he could choose from, and I was so surprised that he went for this one. I am so glad that he did as I love this coat so much, and I actually had to be told to take it off on Christmas Day I loved it so much.

Free People Nightingale Cardigan in black - This was another item off my list that the boy could chose from and I'm so glad that he did. I have loved Free People for ages now and I haven't been able to decide what to go for. So I can see this being the first in a very large collection of pieces.

Cocobands handmade kimono - This item is beautiful! And the boy didn't actually have any say in it, it was one of those I saw it, I paid for it and then the boy paid money into the account. I love having handmade, one of a kind pieces in my wardrobe, all I need now is a cute obi belt to go with it.

Swarovski Annual ornament

Swarovski Annual Edition Ornament 2017 - This is the sixth year that my parents have given me the Swarovski Annual ornament, and I love that we have this little tradition which is slowly growing over my Christmas tree.

Kate Spade Make Mine a Double Thermal Mug - When it comes to this gift, I have a suspicion that my parents might have been reading one of my gift guides that I published as part of Blogmas. I can't wait to start using this on the way to work.

Sweaty Betty Pilates Socks - Again I think someone has been reading my gift guides for inspiration as my brother got me the Pilates socks in both colours, which is great as now I have a coordinating pair for each of my Yoga outfits. He also threw in a one to one Broga class as he recently qualified as an instructor.

Dot Creates Blog Planner - My sister has always been supportive of my blog, so when she suggested that she buy me a blog planner for Christmas (over six months ago) I jumped at the idea. It is such a beautiful planner, set out into months and then into weeks each with the space to plan two posts. The perfect amount to get me organised for this year. And yes this post was planned using it.

Pixi Glow Tonic - Again I think there has been a bit of peeking on my blog (yes I know I did write them to drop subtle hints to friends and family) when the boy's parents got me a brand new bottle of Pixi Glow Tonic.

The White Company Winter Candle - And another item from my gift guides, which I am so thankful for and I can't wait to burn this winter candle. Now that the Christmas decorations have been put away for another year I will be able to keep it alive a little longer.
